I am guilty! And you might be too.

Tossing around the word Love…we are so quick to share this word with others when we clearly do not mean it. We toss it around and most of the time it’s just that, a word and nothing else. I have to admit I am guilty and I recognize it immediately when I do it.

The word “Love” is in the King James Bible 310 times. God speaks of love and gives us clear examples of love. The greatest example was Jesus going to the cross for all of us (Mathew 27:45-54).

Next time you say the word “Love” be intentional. Mean it. Don’t say it just to be saying it. Take a good look at what love is. How can we share Christ if others don’t see love in us.
The Bible actually commands us to love others.

John 13:34-35 (NKJV)

34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
So next time you share the word “Love” ask yourself if your sharing its truths also.
